Return & Refund Policy

Group Services will not accept goods returned, unless the product manufacturer's return policy specifies otherwise.

All products sold by Group Services & Systems Pty. Ltd. are covered by manufacturers warranties.
Group Services & Systems Pty. Ltd. does not guarantee the functionality, performance, suitability or compatibility of product.

Symantec products can only be returned within the warranty period provided they do not perform according to the manual.

Refunds are processed via credit card only. Refunds will be processed 7 to 10 days after we receive the goods back into our warehouse. Notification will be given when the refund has been processed.

All shipping charges are paid for at the customer’s expense, unless Group Services sent the incorrect product. Group Services will be the sole arbiter to decide if we sent the incorrect product.

Goods must be returned unopened in their original packaging and with all components including software media and licence obligations intact. A copy of your invoice must also be included for identification purposes. Our return address is:

Shipping charges

Shipping is calculated on a per-item basis and depends on the type (size) of the package* and the country being shipped to. The tables below list the base rates of shipping charges (prices exclude GST).

Delivery Information

All Australian Orders will include a 10% Goods & Services Tax (GST). All prices are in Australian Dollars.

Orders must be prepaid by Credit Card.

Your Credit Card will be debited at time of order placement (NAB Credit Card Security).

A National Australia Bank credit card receipt will be emailed to you directly and a copy will be available for printing at the time of order placement. Please retain this receipt for your records.

The company name Group Services and Systems will appear on your credit card statement.

Orders will be processed within 7-10 days of order placement Monday to Friday. Dispatch will occur subject to product availability.

Delivery times are dependent upon Australia Post. You should confirm with Australia Post expected delivery times.

Customers must allow 10 days from the date of purchase for delivery of orders.

Delivery will be by Australia Post registered mail within Australia and via surface mail to overseas destinations.

If you require the goods urgently, you should discuss this at time of order with your sales consultant, they may be able to advise on the use of express freight. This will typically involve extra costs to the customer.

No consideration will be given to the replacement of lost packages until 10 working days have transpired from the date of dispatch.

GSS accepts no responsibility for the loss of packages within the postal system. It is the customers’ responsibility to ensure that they have provided the full and correct delivery instructions to GSS, including where the post is collected by a person other than the intended customer.

Excluding Fedex shipments, NZ shipments will be sent via Australia Post airmail with insurance. Australia Post cannot lodge an investigation on undelivered goods until 10 days from the date of shipment. NZ have 60 days in which to respond. Accordingly, no claims will be recognized on shipments via Australia Post to NZ until 70 days has lapsed from the date of shipment.

In the case of backorders, the oldest orders will be filled first. If a product is on backorder you will be contacted via email and offered a cancellation or an estimated time of delivery. If you choose to cancel, we will notify you by email when the product becomes available.

GSS promotions

All special offers promoted by GSS will commence from the date notification that the special offer was received by the customer (this can be via email, direct mail, advertisement or telemarketing call), unless otherwise specified. Customers will not be eligible for any special offer promoted unless they meet the requirements outlined.

Purchases made from retailers other than GSS are not valid in any promotions conducted by GSS, unless otherwise specified.
